Airport food is known to be expensive and not that great. This place is was actually okay. I got a vanilla ice latte that was pretty good and hit the spot. For my breakfast I got the specialty bagel (four cheese asiago) with egg, sausage and cheese. It came with a side of hashbrowns.
Hashbrowns were pretty tasty. Crispy for the most part but a lot of them were soggy.
The sandwich was okay. The bagel wasn't really toasted so the sandwich overall was luke warm. Price for the whole entire meal wasn't too bad. Sandwich overall was okay but hit the spot and I wasn't expecting much anyway. The person who took my order was a bit rude though from what I remember. Not bad for a quick bite to eat! Atleast their coffee lives us to it's reputation! -

I had a morning flight and dropped by for coffee. It was a blazing hot day, so I ordered the biggest size iced coffee, but they said they don't have iced coffee. Iced coffee seems like a staple item for a coffee chain... but ok.
I asked what other cold coffee drinks they have, and they said they only have the Iced Capp that fits that description, so I ordered the biggest size of that. It was a lot more expensive than an iced coffee would've been. Then, it came out drippy at the lid, which caused a sticky mess. Moreover, little non-Canadian me didn't know how sugary Iced Capps are... I got a major unintended sugar rush after drinking it. -

No. Skip it. Bad. Yuck. Stale. I don't get it.
A Canadian institution, I had to try it. I got the "Canadian maple" donut and the frozen lemonade. After an 8 hour flight I wanted some serious sugar. The donut was super stale and not special at all. And the frozen lemonade was what I expected: super sour sugar ice. I got what I paid for, I guess.
It's basically Dunkin Donuts of the north. -

When in Canada...
While at the Toronto Airport I spotted Tim Hortons and there was always a line there the several times I walked by. Unlike the other eateries around the terminal I was in, Tim Hortons provided an affordable option, from more savory meals, which I was surprised to learn they had, to its famous donuts.
I ordered just a sour cream old fashioned donut as a dessert/snack and I enjoyed it. The texture of the donut was moist, and at first I didn't know what to expect with the sour cream flavor; but I liked it. It had hints of a sour taste, but worked well with the glaze on the donut.
For the best selection of donuts you have to get here early. I visited during the evening and they were out of most donuts and pastries. However, it's nice to know after visiting this location that they serve savory meals like chicken sandwiches with fries, in addition to what they're known for...just in case I get a long layover in Toronto again. -

Not super impressed with this location. They burned the bread on my sandwich. At least they didn't ruin the coffee. Will I aim to come back? Not so much.
